Playing in Fog received fines in the amount of $750 last December for four illegally posted flyers on Mission Street for one of our PiF Presents shows. PiF has never flyered and was not even aware the bands were flyering, but DPW is still holding us responsible for the fines just because our name appears on the flyer. We don't think it's fair to have to pay for something we didn't do so we've hired a lawyer to represent us. Since we do not take any money from the shows we organize we cannot afford to pay for a lawyer.
